Re: 2009 Washington Council of the Blind fall convention exhibit hall
It is with great pleasure that I would like to invite you to be an exhibitor at the 2009 Washington Council of the Blind State Convention being held November 5-7, 2009 in Pasco, Washington. WCB is an affiliate of the American Council of the Blind and hosts one of the largest state conventions of the blind in the country.
The exhibit room will be open on Friday, November 6, 2009 from 10:00A.M. To 4:00P.M. The room will be available for set up at 8:00 A.M. Exhibitors are expected to stay until the 4:00 P.M. closing time and will have until 6:00 P.M. to tear down exhibits. The cost to exhibit for this event is just $25 for a six foot table. In order to maximize the number of exhibits we do have a limit of up to two tables per vendor.
Our convention site is the Red Lion Inn located at 2525 N. 20th Ave., Pasco, WA 99301. If you would like to stay at the convention hotel and receive the WCB convention rate of $89 plus tax (based on single or double occupancy). You may make reservations by calling the hotel at 1-509-547-0701 and mentioning the WCB fall convention. October 15, 2009 is the deadline for hotel reservations, registering as an exhibitor and registering for the WCB convention.
Although it is not required for exhibitors to register for the convention, you may decide to take advantage of the meal packages and/or show your support for WCB by registering for our convention. This year we are offering three preregistration rates. Basic registration is $10 which includes a name badge and program. Registration plus the Saturday evening banquet is $45. A full convention package with five meals included for just $90. The meals included are breakfast and lunch on Friday plus breakfast, lunch and the WCB banquet on Saturday evening.
Reservation for exhibit tables will be made based on the order in which registration is received. WCB does have a policy to give first priority to those exhibiting blindness related products and services. Other exhibitors will be considered on a space availability basis.
Please return completed paper registrations to the address above. For your convenience this letter and form can be found on our website at www.wcbinfo.org for easy electronic completing and email to my email address above. There are two payment options available. Either send a check or money order to the address below, or use PayPal to make an electronic payment. Hard copy payments should be sent to WCB P.O. Box 1085 Tracyton, WA 98393-1085.
We look forward to having you as an exhibitor for this year’s WCB Convention. The exhibit room is always a highlight of the convention because of the quality and variety of products the exhibitors bring.
Sincerely,
Vivian Conger, Exhibits Coordinator
Washington Council of the Blind
